been put on to my boat from the other two boats which the Japanese had sank, came drifting towards us clinging to a piece of wood. These three also climbed on board. The boat

drifted for about half an hour and we saw another unlicensed

boat. We all boarded this boat and found it also had a hole

in the bottom. About an hour later we saw the S.S.SAI ON bound

for Lacau. The $.S.SAI ON stopped and took us on board and

conveyed us to Macau. *e were conveyed back to Hong Kong arriving at 19.30 hours on 27.9.40 and hunde over to the

Police.
